Overview
In any consultation or mentoring platform, it’s essential to have clear guidelines about no-shows to ensure fairness for both students and Edurs. Toedur has a straightforward policy to manage missed sessions.
What should I do if I or my Edur misses a session?
If you or your Edur misses a session, here’s what you need to do:
- For Students: If you miss a session, immediately notify your Edur via the platform’s messaging system. You can reschedule the session if needed, but this should be done promptly to avoid inconveniencing your Edur.
- For Edurs: If your Edur misses a session, reach out to them as soon as possible to reschedule. Toedur provides a rescheduling feature that allows both parties to find a new time that works.
Clear communication is key in these situations. Missing a session without informing the other party can lead to misunderstandings, so make sure to notify immediately if you are unable to attend.
Will I be charged if I don’t show up?
Yes, Toedur’s no-show policy includes a fee in certain situations:
- For Students: If a student doesn’t show up to a session without any prior notice, they may be charged a cancellation fee. The fee will depend on the Edur’s cancellation policy and how much notice was given.
- For Edurs: If an Edur fails to attend a session, they may also face a penalty or be asked to offer a free session as compensation, depending on the platform’s policies.
To minimize the chances of being charged, always communicate if you need to cancel or reschedule in advance. Both students and Edurs should strive to respect each other's time to maintain a smooth, professional experience on the platform.
